A Royal Legacy That Ended
The Rolls car that kings and emperors has discontinued a long time ago. The Rolls car that see in the market these days and social media is a 21-year-old company.
1971, when the original company that made Rolls cars went bankrupt. The same company also made engines for large airplanes.
The British government took over their share in making cars because the bank had gone bankrupt. In 1981, the British government hands over all the operations of Rolls-Royce to a company Vickers.
In 1998, Volkswagen bought all the factories and offices of Rolls-Royce Victor from them.
A Split between Name and Machinery
Volkswagen did not buy the Rolls car logo and name from Vickers. BMW took over in this area. The logo and the Rolls-Royce name were buying BMW Company from the Vickers Company. All the offices and factories then went to Volkswagen and the Rolls-Royce name and logo went to BMW.
After which BMW and Volkswagen decided to make a deal.
A New Beginning in 2003
In 2003, BMW and Volkswagen once again launched Rolls Royce. After that, this car started selling all over the world thinking that earlier it was only owned by kings. While the fact is that this company was formed in 2003. The company that made the original Rolls cars still makes ship engines today.
